So the only reason I went to see it was because the RZA from the Wu Tang Clan was in it, and he did not disappoint. The movie was great, its was funny but then manifested into another beast, it was borderline melodramatic but kept the humor. They showed clips of Adam Sandler back in the day doing his prank calling thing thing. This was more of a serious depressing funny emo role for Sandler, but it worked. I especially like the commentary between different types of humor because of the difference between age demographics. The move pressed real life situations with real life humor rather than the normal movie over the top slapstick crass shit that gets an easy laugh, it was humor that your could recognize within your circle of friends, more like reflective humor. I liked the flick, it was fucking long and some parts were dry but in the end necessary for translating the REAL effect in the humorous film by Judd Aptow. So go see the flick for some good reflection, funny jokes, and insane amount of cameo’s by “Funny People” in the biz…..

I think it should be mentioned that Judd Apatow, for those who don’t know, is responsible for Anchorman, 40-Year-Old Virgin, Talledega Nights, Knocked Up, Superbad, Walk Hard, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Step Brothers AND Pineapple Express. Soooo pretty much EVERY funny movie out. Dude is a genius. Oh did I mention Freaks and Geeks?

You know I just watched it last month to show Lyndsay what a good show it was….and….ehh. I couldn’t laugh as much anymore. It kinda freaked me out because we definitely laughed ALOT at that show. Detox is killing my humor. So I decided to leave that one out.
