The Only Place Left on Earth Zombieland Movie Review

Seems that Zombies and Vampires are all the rage in Hollywood lately, and luck for us the Hollywood has managed to pump out some serious slabs of grade A zombie goodness, unfortunately can’t say the same for the molding meaty theme for vampires. 

Zombieland is a GREAT flick. In your face gore, some great tips on how to survive a zombie armageddon, and the comedy was pretty realistic if we our future was ruled by zombies. So go see it! Onto the review.

So what kind of zombies are we dealing with? Apparently someone at a truck stop ate a meat sandwich which was contaminated with some sort of virus that makes the victim crazed blah, blah, BLAH. Enter our hero, a Jewish looking nerdy ass dude that knows how to survive by following simple logical rules that he has come up with. These rules are graphically put into the movie much like I Heart Huckabees or Stranger than Fiction.

But the real balls of this film is Woody Harrelson. He is a zombie killing machine that is on a constant hunt for the ever elusive Twinkie in this post apocalyptic world. Little miss sunshine and the chick that is into the fat dude in Superbad are also in this flick, and much like most women, they pissed me off.  

The movie goes through some horror comedy antics and some of the Zombie killing scenes are just plain fucking brutal. It was worth the 9 bucks to check Zombieland in the movie theater, plus you can’t go wrong when a couple leaves the film because of graphic violence(my favorite). The real pay dirt comes when Bill Murray makes a cameo and plays himself! Its AWESOME, much like this flick so check it!
