Marvel Anime: WTF is this about?

So Marvel had a decent idea to recreate some of its better known characters into Anime format. Much like communism, it seem great on paper, but the end result is shit. Well, at least that’s what I take from the previews. The firs one is Iron Man, a character that I never really cared about, but still enjoyed some of the comic books when I was a kid. The preview leaves little up to the imagination; but from what we can see, the animation is pretty decent and will most likely be jammed with the kind of action and explosions of which Michael Bay dreams. So whereas, the Iron Man Anime seems decent, the Wolverine one looks ridiculous. First of all, we old school, Wolverine geeks can remember reading the comic book where Wolverine was living in Japan. So one would only assume that this Anime would work upon that storyline. Seems like they completely ignored it and have created a hybrid character that reminds me more of a mask-less Vega from the last Street Fighter movie (which is terrible, btw). I understand what artistic freedom is, but they have completely ruined the Wolverine character for me. What the hell happened to the little badass dude from Canada? Trailer after the jump:
