Exercise in Gaming? Wii Fit Review

Hello, I am Shogun00 and I am 29 going to be 30 on 3/9/2010 (R.I.P. B.I.G.) in real life. According to the 1^st time I stepped onto the Wii Fit my Wii age was 49. Fuck you Nintendo.

So like any true gamer I started doing shit to get my Wii age down, sweating, stepping contorting, pressing, lifting stretching, hey wait, what the…Very clever Nintendo. And that’s what fatty kids and overweight single stoners need these days, to be tricked into exercising by a video game console. Surprisingly its fun, I mean real fun. You defiantly work up a sweat which means the game is working.

So with everything Nintendo there is a super cute Wii Fit avatar guiding your fat ass through this healthy journey. This dude gets on your case when you’re not doing daily routines, suggests new work outs, gives you praises etc. The Wii Fit weighs you and gives you your BMI, or your Body Mass Index. Your BMI is determined by your height and weight to let you know how much body fat you have. I am Normal, barely.

Does it work, yes it does. I will be honest, I don’t do the strength or aerobics or any of the mini games(which are fun) like snowboarding or hula-hooping but I do participate in the Yoga. Yoga is great, its gets me all loose and I try to do it before I get into some hardcore gaming action. And I have seen a marked improvement in my posture, check plus. FYI my Wii age is down to 35.

But the best aspect about having a Wii Fit is watching your girlfriend do Yoga positions in front of you. Sure you don’t get to play, but the view is AWESOME.

 This particular review was askew. I lead a life that is not considered “Healthy” by any means and I don’t plan on changing it. I am not obese in anyway but if you are the Wii Fit isn’t going to help you, at ALL. Go outside and get chased by a dog fat ass!

If you are a health person this is a great way to electronically save your data. It does take input from workouts that you do not do on the Wii fit so it does cater to your lifestyle.
