Using fraps, each frame was captured as a jpeg then i used a program called virtual-dub to put all the screenshots into a video at 30fps. Unfortunately it can't record sound. If you can see in the top right corner, most of the video was running at .2 frames per second. So i basically had to wait 10 seconds for every frame. At 2:11 that scene took about 30 minutes to render. Actually i did this using a rendering process.
